For some hitting the second trimester is generally the first milestone.
For us, its 24 weeks.
Officially today, this little parasite is older than his/her brothers and while its bittersweet, I'm so incredibly grateful that we have made it this far.
Today is new territory for us and in part its so very amazing. We know exactly how perfect this baby is at this gestation and its amazing to know that he/she will only get bigger and more perfect as each day progresses.
My only fear is my size. I'm pretty much the same belly size with this singleton as I was with the 2 boys. In fact, overall I weigh about 6 lbs more with this one and putting on weight this time around is all too easy (where as with the boys I remained ~5 lbs below my pre-pregnancy weight this time around I've gained approx 20lbs so far - who knew that was possible).
As of today I'll begin resuming my activities again. I stopped being active between ~15weeks and now. It'll be nice to be outside enjoying our beautiful spring weather.
All in all, for the first time this 'pregnancy' I'm comfortable saying "We're pregnant!".
This is a story of our journey. There's no focus as our lives keep being pulled in different directions - its hard to focus when your not in one place long enough to get 'comfortable'.

23 weeks 1 day
We got to see our little parasite again today.
He/she is doing well and at 23+ weeks we're beginning to be more hopeful on making it all the way to the finish line.
My concern is the size of this kids head!! I'm sure in the next 17 odd weeks the head will slow down and the body will catch up but MAN its a scary mental image if that head stays big.
